  • Discussion with Eva Lustigová at Hollar

    The Language Centre invites both the faculty students and staff to a discussion with Eva Lustigová, daughter of renowned Czech Jewish writer Arnošt Lustig about the launch of the biographical graphic novel Arnoštova cesta, about vigorously fostering her father’s legacy through the Arnošt Lustig Foundation, and about her work for the World Health Organization of the United Nations. The event takes place on 7 March 2024 at 5 pm at Hollar, room 215.

  • Wellbeing Day on 11 March in Jinonice Campus

    On 11 March 2024 from 9 to ca 11-12 am in the foyer of Building B of the Jinonice Campus, you can meet again dogs from the canistherapeutic society Šimíček. There will be also delicious breakfast for you prepared by FSV UK student clubs. All our students and employees are welcome! The event is organized by the FSV UK Wellbeing Working Group. 

  • Brunch with the Dean

    We cordially invite you to an informal brunch of the academic and research staff, lecturers and the secretariat of institutes with the FSV UK Dean Tomáš Karásek on 7 March 2024 in room C131 of the Jinonice Campus. This time you will have the opportunity to find out details about new grant calls and talk about research opportunities at FSV UK with our colleagues from the Research Office.

  • Former Prime Minister of Italy Enrico Letta debated at FSV UK

    Enrico Letta, the former Prime Minister of Italy and the current president of the think tank Jacques Delors Institute, visited Prague last week. The official visit also included an academic debate on the future of the EU internal market at FSV UK. FSV UK Dean Tomáš Karásek, Martin Mejstřík from IMS FSV UK and Petr Janský from IES FSV UK took part in the discussion.

  • Annual Ball of the Faculty of Social Sciences 2024

  • Exhibition "Towards: searching for queer safe space" moved to Jinonice

    For the next two months, the FSV UK students' photo exhibition "Towards: searching for queer safe space" will be showcased in the foyer of the Jinonice Campus Jinonice. The exhibition was originally launched during Prague Pride in August in the Hollar building.
