  • May in Motion staff challenge

    The Well-being Working Group and the Sustainability Working Group have prepared the May in Motion challenge for all FSV UK employees. Both individuals and teams of faculty employees can participate in the challenge. You can compete from 1 to 31 May 2024 in up to three categories – walking, running and cycling.

  • Irena Kalhousová received Miloslav Petrusek Prize for Presentation and Promotion of CU

    Dr. Irena Kalhousová, Director of the Herzl Centre for Israeli Studies at Charles University, received the Miloslav Petrusek Prize for Presentation and Promotion for her long-term development of the third pillar of the university through her activities in the media, participation in public discussions and lecturing activities in high schools.

  • Rector's Sports Day on 14 May

    On 14 May 2024, a traditional sport day for the whole Charles University known as a Rector's Sports Day takes place. Organisation of this sport event for this year is under wings of Department of Physical Education at Faculty of Arts CU. In cooperation with colleagues from other departments within Charles University they have prepared for you 28 sport activities in Prague and its surroundings, 20 in Hradec Králové and 10 in Pilsen.

  • Summer German language courses at partner universities

    In the framework of the direct inter-university cooperation we would like to offer our students the participation in Summer language German courses at our partner universities in Heidelberg, des Saarbrücken, Giessen and TU Dresden. The application deadline is 23 April 2024.

  • SDG Summer School “Planetary Health" in Geneva

    The SDG Summer School “Planetary Health" takes place from 1 to 26 July 2024 in Geneva, Switzerland. Four full scholarships for registration fee, accommodation, meals and transportations are available exclusively for the students of the 4EU+ universities. Applications are open until 30 April 2024.

  • Call for applications to prestigious Europaeum seminar

    Call for applications is now open for the prestigious Europaeum network seminar focusing on policy making in Brussels. For this seminar, Europaeum will select 20 master's or doctoral students from member universities of the network. Successful candidates will be provided with free accommodation and will be reimbursed for reasonable travel expenses within Europe. The application deadline is 24 May 2024.
